Does a red giant appear red from the surface of the Earth? If
not what does one need to see a red giant?
A:
Yes. Take a look at Antares, the brightest star in the
constellation Scorpius. It is in the southern sky all summer,
just below and to the right of Mars, which happens to be passing
through Scorpius this summer.
