During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned. Chandra passed through the third, fourth and fifth eclipses of the season on Dec 7, 9 and 12 respectively, with nominal power and thermal performance. A real-time procedure was executed Dec 7 to clear the EPS Glitch Counter following the battery reconnection. This is a routine event possible following an eclipse. The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes observations of Ark 564 coordinated with JVLA, an observation of FRB 180916.J0158+65 which is a followup to a Director's Discretionary Time Target of Opportunity accepted on Nov 13 and is coordinated with the Effelsberg Radio Telescope, an observation of PKS 1413+13 which is a follow-up to a Director's Discretionary Time Target of Opportunity accepted on Oct 18, and observations of C/2019 Q4 Borisov which was accepted as a Director's Discretionary Time Target of Opportunity on Oct 22. |
