During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned. Real-time procedures were executed during each ground contact to reset the DSN Outage Dead Man Load. Of note this week was the release on Jul 9 of CalDB version 4.9.2.1. The CALDB update includes an upgrade of the ACIS T_Gain library and changes to the ACIS focal plane temperature calibration. Also included are updates to the HRC-S time-dependent gain maps, the HRC-S time-dependent quantum efficiency corrections, and the HRC-I quantum efficiency library. For details see: http://cxc.harvard.edu/caldb/downloads/Release_notes/CALDB_v4.9.2.html and http://cxc.harvard.edu/caldb/downloads/Release_notes/CALDB_v4.9.2.1.html In addition, due to the current circumstances, the science workshop on Chandra Frontiers in Time-Domain Science will transition to a series of virtual topical sessions and panels throughout the Fall 2020. The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below. |
