Operations CXO Status Report

Friday 28 March 2008 7.00am EDT

During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

As noted last week, the Chandra Cycle 10 proposal deadline was March 20. The initial count shows that 640 GO proposals were received in addition to 63 GTO proposals, comparable with Cycle 9. The total requested time over-subscription factor for the Cycle is approximately six.

The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes an observation of M87 coordinated with HST and an observation of HR 5110 coordinated with both the VLA and the VLBA.
