During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as
planned.
A Chandra press release was issued on Jun 22 discussing evidence that extremely hot gas exists in a large region at the center of the Milky Way. For details see: http://chandra.harvard.edu/press/04_releases/press_062204.html The observing schedule for next week is shown below and includes coordinated observations of Mrk 590 with XMM-Newton and Integral and of 3C273 with XMM-Newton: |
