During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.
This week saw the first operational use of a tool designed to improve the selection of aspect stars during the mission planning process. The tool is expected to reduce the number of load reviews held each week prior to approval and uplink, and reduce the probability of bright star holds. Of note this week was the presentation on 10/17 by the IAR Chair to the MSFC Project Management Council of the results of the 2002 Chandra review. The IAR observations and program responses were discussed and no major actions came from the review. The observing schedule for next week is shown below. |
