During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.
Of note last week was the approval by the Flight Director Board of the transition to DSS-24 following its upgrade to DSN's next generation NSP (Network Simplfication Project) equipment. Following an initial problem identifed during testing, the system is now ready to support Chandra. The Chandra Cycle 5 proposal deadline is March 14 at 7pm EST. The observing schedule for next week is shown below. |
