During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.
A real-time procedure was executed on May 5 to perform a routine self-check of the Electrical Interface Assembly (EIA) Sequencer. Preparations are complete for the start of the summer 2010 eclipse season beginning on May 9. This season contains 17 eclipses (15 medium and 2 short) and will end on June 20. The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below includes an observation of NGC 5408 X-1 coordinated with HST and an observation of Sgr A* coordinated with a ground-based observatory. |
